The Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources was in need of a yearly college magazine that could unite all of its colleges and departments. This was the flagship publication to be used as a means of promoting the overarching College in its entirety through sharing the stories of current students and alumni, and how they are positively impacting the world.

We were hired to develop the name, content strategy, layout and creative direction for the overall publication. We were also in charge of the art direction of the photoshoot for the cover. Multiple wordmarks were tested for the flag on the cover. Every spread was explored through multiple layouts and type treatments inspired by the story it told.

Details were sweat at every part of the process down to the environmentally-friendly paper, which was chosen from Neenah’s Conservation© Papers which are FSC®-Certified and contain 100% post-consumer waste.
