“Together We Move Forward” Campaign

The City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure wanted to launch a campaign to bring awareness to multi-modal transportation especially bicycling and the benefits it brings to the city in addition to vehicular transportation. Most of the materials for this campaign were placed in downtown Pittsburgh and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Güd Marketing was tasked with creating concepts that showcased the diversity and personality of the city.
“Together We Move Forward” is an inclusive illustrative concept that works to include the multiple modes of transportation, the people of Pittsburgh and city landmarks. To create connected and engaging visuals It was key to use familiar colors such as a golden yellow. The color palette was inspired by the environment and the activity found on the streets of the city.

In order to increase the longevity of the brand materials, we developed a system of illustrated layers that could be used to create different compositions used across a variety of mediums such as out-of-home advertisements, web banners, videos, infographics and social. The system included a library of illustrations, typography direction, color assets and a campaign style guide.
